Hypertension Risk Summary

So how can one estimate one's risk for CHD or stroke if one has high blood pressure?

Our opinion is that the first calculation should use the Framingham calculator, or a similar approach. However, as one ages, the risk needs to updated when (and if) the blood pressure changes. It will require further research to determine whether these approaches are equivalent!
