The Non-Science of Dr. Mehmet Oz - Summary

If Dr. Oz would have added a disclaimer that his "groundbreaking experiments" were for illustration purposes only, and cited results that have been clearly established in legitimate studies, we could have forgiven him. The bottom line is that food does have an impact on our health, mood and general well-being. This site refers to several studies that demonstrate that health is improved by increasing fruit and vegetable consumption, losing weight, moderate alcohol consumption, and adhering to a "Mediterranean Diet". But that's why he sells books and I don't. I prefer facts over questionable theatrics...

Update: Now Dr. Oz thinks we can talk to the dead. Instead of bringing someone who can debunk nonsense, he chose to bring John Edwards, a person who claims he talks to the dead. It is amazing how much nonsense this cardiologist-turned-populist-entertainer can spew, and still retain his credibility!
